Thank you so much for sharing. My ex wife was abused by her dad and it affected our marriage. When she did go to the specialized Councelor she changed dramatically. She stopped going though and slipped back into old habits, criticizing and controlling. Sadly after 28 years and 5 kids I realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life living with a person who thought she had healed but I believe she still had a number of layers that were never addressed. I still love her and just feel sorry for her. She remarried and is happier now it seems! Anyway I’m so glad for you making it all the way through it. Sorry it ever happened to you.
