Women who for a variety of reasons, have found themselves no longer able to rely on a partner for financial security and are seeking financial independence.

To be considered for a one-time financial gift, recipients will:

• Fill out application
• Submit information for a background check
  • Please do not let this deter you, we do this to confirm no prior history of financial crimes such as: identity theft, fraud, embezzlement, or forgery.
• Face-to-face call with a Rising Violet board member
• Submit a short one page essay sharing your story with us
  • This will include an explanation of how you will spend the $1000 gift
• Will reside in the United States of America

Please note:

• Gift recipients will be notified one month prior to receiving their gift. 
• Gifts will be sent by mail on the 14th of each month. 
• Applications will be held for a three month period. If you aren’t selected the first month, you will be considered for the following two months.
• One financial gift per person.
